this is hard game.. i didn't see anyone complain about this, but what was most frustrating for me was if i accidentally clicked off the game (which happened often) i would obviously lose motion of my bot and hitting space bar would scroll me down the page

i'm stuck at level 23, for i am no extreme multitasker :( .. how many levels are there anyway?

let me just start out with WHAT THE FUCK. i was thinking about the game skyroads about a month ago and couldn't remember the name of it. i used to play this game all the time as a child. you sir have impeccable timing and have made me weep with joy.

are some/all of these levels modeled after the original? i somehow distinctly remember wanting to pull my hair out on some of these levels.

i'd give you a million/5 if i could, this game has brought back tons of nostalgia

btw skyroads is freeware, you can download it directly on bluemoon's website!

until i hit (what i'm pretty sure is) a glitch.. it took me some time to figure out how to avoid the ceiling, and when i finally did, the ceiling crushed me even after i avoided and was in the next room.. i even retried after dying, and the same thing happened again.. it's a shame, cause this game was more involved than most escape games i've played.

but i will be since this game is already lacking in so many aspects.. if you left the earth's atmosphere, your blood would boil (due to lack of atmospheric pressure) causing excessive pressure within your body, which would result in your body rupturing/exploding.. you would not have time to suffocate :D

pretty fun game

i played for a shockingly long time.. only thing i noticed is that the "number of points you missed to get a new high score" is 1 less than it should be cause if you got that score it would tie your highest score

my only complaints are that u can't jump over enemies, which sometimes made me feel stuck

i think it would be an interesting idea to add a damage function that depends on how far away the enemy is, but it was still a fun game nonetheless

Thanks for the review. It IS possible to jump over enemies :)
It's easy from a little distance but if an enemy is blocking you, try to jump first (without any other buttons pressed) and while IN the air press left/right.

You'll see that with a little training it's possible.

fun game

but i do have a few complaints/improvements..

first, i think that a 'piercing' upgrade should be possible, (i.e 10% chance to pierce on first upgrade, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%).. this would reduce the slightly frustrating effect of some monsters always jumping in front of another by being faster, and constantly kiting groups of monsters in circles

second, you were actually able to upgrade past 5 dots, but you only showed 5 dots.. this was misleading, i was a little confused about this

third, what's the difference between, say, the ice arrow and fire? from reading the description, i'm assuming there is no difference.. if this is true, why make one double the price of the other? this seems really silly to me.. it would've been cool if you actually incorporated elemental damage into the game, like ice arrows slowing enemies for a few seconds, fire causing splash damage, and electric arrows either jumping to multiple targets or imbuing the enemy u hit with electric charge, causing some kind of effect.. if you were to do this, maybe you could also create arrow upgrades so one could specialize in an element

while this game is a fairly simple upgrading game, it's still entertaining and has potential to be amazing

Oops, that's a bug.

Fire arrows actually are stronger, I forgot to add that in the description. I'll add effects for the arrows in the sequel, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

this game has major problems

i don't know why you submitted this game with so many problems

1) adrenaline doesn't even deplete half the time as it should
2) what's even the point of adrenaline if u can just replenish it yourself whenever u want in 3 seconds?
3) controls are very awkward and many objects are insensitive to recognition (namely ropes/chains).. jumping off of a chain is annoying since you have to let go of the up arrow to do it
4) enemies are barely enemies
5) what's the point of these blocking machines that you put arrows in front of? they don't seem to serve any purpose whatsoever except to waste 2 seconds of your time to destroy them by a 1,2 punch and a swift kick to the crotch
6) on the second level your health gets jammed at "0" even though the game recognizes it as 1 permanently (if you get hit once, you die).. this was my breaking point and i stopped playing the game

sorry but don't submit a game with so many issues and expect to get a decent score

i gave you a 5 because the style was cool and the gameplay had potential, although was definitely lacking
